🍂🥭 Introducing Mango Bliss: As the cooler days of autumn settle in, Kai & Creams is turning up the tropical vibes with a truly special treat. In collaboration with the Fil-Mango Sustainable Agriculture Organisation, we’re thrilled to announce Mango Bliss – a limited-edition Carabao mango ice cream made with real mangoes flown in fresh from the Philippines.

This isn’t your average mango-flavoured ice cream. Mango Bliss features real Carabao mangoes, known globally as the sweetest mango variety. These golden mangoes are grown in the coastal orchards of La Union, hand-picked at their peak, and flown directly into Sydney where the ice cream is made – fresh, local, and 100% delicious.

🍨 Meet the Maker: Chef Chester

Born and raised in the Philippines, Chef Chester now calls Sydney home, where he lives with his wife and kids. He’s the mastermind behind this mouth-watering creation. With a deep love for the flavours of home, Chester teamed up with Fil-Mango to craft a dessert that brings the essence of the tropics to Australian palates.

“I wanted people to experience the real taste of mangoes from back home – not the artificial kind, but the fresh, sun-ripened mangoes I grew up with,” says Chester. “Thanks to Fil-Mango, we made that happen.”

👨‍👩‍🍦 The Story Behind Kai & Creams: Family, Flavour, and Filipino Roots

Kai & Creams isn’t just an ice cream brand—it’s a love story, a family story, and a Filipino story at heart.

Founded by Chester and Michel, a Filipino couple based in Sydney with four beautiful kids and a passion for food, Kai & Creams was born out of their desire to bring the comforting flavours of home to Australia. What started as a humble home business has grown into a beloved artisan ice cream brand known for its tropical-inspired, nostalgic flavours.

Chester, a skilled chef from the Philippines, brings his culinary creativity to every tub. Michel, his partner in both life and business, adds the heart and heritage. Her connection to mangoes is deeply personal—her parents own a mango farm in La Union, the very province where the mangoes used in Mango Bliss are grown.

“This isn’t just about ice cream,” Michel shares. “It’s about sharing part of our family's story. These mangoes are grown by people we know and love—and now available across Sydney.”

This isn’t a corporate flavour concept. This is a flavour rooted in family farms, crafted in a small Sydney kitchen, and lovingly scooped by people who grew up under mango trees.

🏄‍♂️ Packaging Inspired by the Islands

The packaging of Mango Bliss draws inspiration from the stunning beaches of La Union and Siargao. Think golden sands, rolling surf, and vibrant island energy. La Union, known as the “Surfing Capital of the North”, isn’t just famous for its waves – it’s also home to some of the best mangoes in the Philippines.

Siargao, on the other hand, is world-renowned for its reef breaks like Cloud 9 – a symbol of bold, untamed adventure. These coastal vibes are captured in every tub of Mango Bliss, giving you a visual escape while you indulge.
